The first thing you must do is make sure that your milk supply is coming and flowing. Basically, make sure that the milk supply is established. Breastfeed exclusively for the first 3 weeks. And when you choose the nipple for the bottles, make sure that they imitate the the mother's nipples. You want small hole. If the hole is big, your baby might not want to breastfeed again because he is enjoying the bottle. It flows better. He does not have to work hard to get the milk. You want him to enjoy both. Then introduce the bottle. Though it is easy for baby to take bottle, you want to give the first bottle when your baby is hungry but not screaming, 2 hours after breastfeeding session. It is the best time to introduce him new things. He will be more ready for it. The important thing is to go very slow. Try adding more bottle sessions each day until you can alternate between bottle and breast through out the day. While your baby has started to take more bottles, chances are that your milk supply will definitely decrease. And you do not want that because you still need to breastfeed your baby. The best option is to pump it out. Express your milk out. It can keep your milk supply maintained. Try to do it regularly. If not, your milk supply with be totally gone.By: suriyaArticle Directory: http://www.articledashboard.comMedela Pump In Style Advanced Breast Pump Backpack is a good quality breast pump that you can take anywhere you go with everything ready inside.
