if u want to be an at home mom, even if u dont think so breast pumps are sometimes necesary, but it depends. u can use them if ud like the father of the baby, or family, feed ur child from a bottle when hes about 1-2 months old, preferably 1. i used a manual one, because you can control the flow and the speed so its comfortable to u. the electric ones do kinda make u feel like a cow hooked up to something. i would try the manual ones, theyre also cheaper nd dont need batteries or plugs or anything like that. try what seems best to you. good luck.!
